Athletics

The mission of the Winter Springs High School Athletics Department is to facilitate programs of excellence as defined by the Florida High School Athletic Association.

By implementing a holistic approach that balances family, academics, and athletics, we will nurture the development of social responsibility and encourage the pursuit of post graduation career paths and athletic aspirations. We value the lessons taught by athletic participation, and seek to develop the personal, ethical, physical, and intellectual skills necessary for success beyond graduation.

Office Hours

7:00am-12:30pm and 1:00pm-3:00pm

Eligibility/Clearance Paperwork

Any student who is currently enrolled at WSHS that is interested in trying out for any of our sports teams or in participating in any preseason conditioning / open facility workouts must be have a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA and be fully cleared through our NEW ONLINE ATHLETIC PHYSICAL PROCESS. A prospective student athlete must have physical exam using this EL2 form, EL3 form and SCPS Cardiac Clearance.

Student Athlete Code of Conduct must be signed by student / parent and returned to Head Coach at the start of each season before being allowed to participate in any competitions: Student Athlete Code of Conduct

We have several more projects and team specific wish list items you can help with by donating today! Your generous support has helped us move up from 51st in the FHSAA Sunshine Cup All Sports Standings all the way up to 6th in the State Overall for Athletics!
